Acerra – The Naples Police Headquarters continues to implement extraordinary measures to combat illegal possession of weapons and the distribution of narcotics.

Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Acerra Police Station conducted a check on the municipal property. During the operation, they located, inside a condominium park, a cache containing a stolen 7,65 caliber Beretta pistol and 15 rounds of the same caliber ammunition.

Also hidden in the same location were 26 blocks of hashish, weighing more than 2,5 kilograms in total, and seven packages of cocaine, weighing approximately 60 grams in total.

All the material has been seized. Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible for possession of the weapon and drugs. The gun has meanwhile been sent to the forensic unit, which will determine whether it was used in recent crimes.

When dealing with drugs, we try to understand who was using that hideout and therefore trace the clans responsible for its custody and dealing.
