America's Cup in Naples, Mayor Manfredi takes stock: over 250 attendees in three days.

Naples – A test passed with flying colors. The second America's Cup preliminary regatta concluded with strong public participation and an organizational response deemed more than satisfactory by the City Council. Naples Mayor Gaetano Manfredi provided the assessment on the sidelines of the Four Days celebrations at the Mausoleum on Via Posillipo.

"The result is very positive and the overall outcome is excellent," declared the mayor, highlighting the record attendance along the coast. "The huge public participation, with more than 250 people along the seafront over the three days, combined with the effectiveness of all the measures implemented—which allowed for an extremely fair race with significant international impact—leave us truly satisfied."

The joint efforts of institutions, law enforcement, and organizers have thus withstood the impact of the event, offering a leading global showcase for the Gulf of Naples. In the coming days, the administration announced, a technical debriefing will be held to analyze in detail the functioning of the various security and reception systems, in order to iron out any potential issues.

With this initial testing phase behind us, the focus now shifts to the medium and long term. "Now we need to get organized for the main event, which will be next May," Manfredi concluded, reiterating that the buildup to the world's most prestigious sailing competition has officially begun "with the best of hopes."
