A significant project saw the removal of hundreds of tires from the Castel Volturno coastline, thanks to collaboration between public bodies, associations, and citizens committed to combating environmental degradation.

Castel Volturno: Hundreds of tires removed from the coastline in a joint effort.
The Castel Volturno coastline was the focus of a major cleanup operation, with hundreds of abandoned tires collected.
The initiative was carried out through synergy between local institutions, environmental associations, and citizens, who responded to the call to combat environmental degradation along the coast. Mariateresa Imparato, president of Legambiente Campania, called the action a symbolic yet substantial gesture, aimed at strengthening collaboration between institutions and communities and promoting greater civic awareness to prevent uncivilized behavior.
The event was also attended by institutional representatives such as Francesco Todisco, president of the Volturno land reclamation consortium, Anacleto Colombiano, president of the Province of Caserta, Giuseppina Carnimeo, general director of Ecopneus, and Fernando Mone, prefectural commissioner of the Municipality of Castel Volturno.
The project is part of a broader strategy to protect the environment and enhance the Domitian coastline, highlighting the importance of a shared commitment to preserving the territory.
