Security in Poggioreale: Extraordinary measures for the school Four Days after the theft

This morning in Naples, the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, chaired by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, met at the Government Palace. The meeting focused on the protection of the Quattro Giornate elementary and preschool school complex, located in the Poggioreale neighborhood, Rione Luzzatti, prioritizing urgent interventions.

The meeting also reviewed a recent theft incident at the school, which resulted in the recovery of the stolen goods and the return of the teaching materials to the school. To prevent further acts of illegality and enhance the community's perceived level of safety, it was agreed to implement extraordinary prevention services involving monitoring and surveillance outside the school.

This plan will operate in close collaboration with the Headmaster and the Regional School Office. The participation of Headmaster Francesca Federica Frezza and the Regional School Office has been envisaged as part of an extended committee. The Prefecture and the heads of the law enforcement agencies have reaffirmed their full commitment to protecting local schools, recognized as fundamental pillars of legality and growth for the entire city community.
