Fiorentina, Vanoli: "Napoli is among the Scudetto contenders, but we must face them fearlessly."

"Fiorentina needs to look to the future. On Sunday we'll face a strong team, and we'll have to face them with courage and without fear." This is how Paolo Vanoli presents the match against Napoli, scheduled for Sunday, September 20th, at 12:30 p.m. at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.

On the eve of the league match, the Viola coach gave his team a clear direction: "We just need to leave the pitch with the conviction that we've made another step forward."

Vanoli didn't hide the caliber of his opponents, including Napoli among the teams that can contend for the title. "Napoli, even if they're struggling, are still Napoli. They have a deep, strong squad. I've definitely put them among the contenders and in the final fight for the Scudetto."

According to the Fiorentina coach, the Azzurri can count on several players capable of changing the course of a match. Among them is Kevin De Bruyne, whom Vanoli considers one of the players to keep a close eye on.

"I'm in love with De Bruyne because of the way he looks for space. I think he's a player who can cause us problems because he has class, he attacks space well, he knows how to move the ball, he dictates the pace, and he has personality. I'm not the one who discovered him," said the coach.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina's squad is showing positive signs of recovery. Vanoli explained that he kept Atta fit for the Coppa Italia, while Dragusin has recovered from the muscle strain he suffered in the match against Pisa, when he came off at halftime.

"We're doing well: I kept Atta in the Coppa Italia, and Dragusin is doing well too," Vanoli emphasized. The countdown to Fiorentina-Napoli has begun: on one side, the home team, called upon to play with courage; on the other, the Azzurri, named by the Viola coach as one of the teams accredited to the Scudetto race.
