Marco Travaglio tonight at the Teatro al Borgo in Casertavecchia

On the 54th September program at the Borgo "Fabulae", Marco Travaglio is the protagonist of the fourth day with the show "Cornuti e contenti". The event is scheduled for this evening at 8:30 pm in the space set up in front of the Chapel of San Rocco and is sold out.

The festival, directed by Massimiliano Gallo, continues with other initiatives: last night, the film Nero was screened, marking the debut of the space after the postponement caused by the strong wind warning. Giovanni Esposito, kept on set by work commitments, was unable to make it to Casertavecchia, but he decided to send a video message to viewers before the screening.

The day began in the Church of the Annunziata with the inauguration of The Seven Sisters. The Campana Madonnas between Tradition and Legend, an exhibition by Marialaura Balestra, followed by a talk "Backstage Secrets" with Anna Camerlingo and Maria Bolignano. The exhibition remains open today and until Sunday, September 27th.

CUCKOLDS AND HAPPY

After years of stories about bad politics and information, Travaglio focuses on an uncomfortable question: what are citizens' responsibilities? The monologue invites the viewer to reflect on those who continue to vote for politicians who have disappointed them, those who reward media and programs that spread falsehoods, or those who opt for abstention as a form of rebellion.

With a satirical tone that also highlights serious issues, "Cornuti e contenti" presents itself as a grassroots self-defense guide. The story touches on the manipulation of information, war, the relationship between citizens and power, and devotes an explanatory chapter to the issue of career separation among magistrates.

This evening is sold out; any remaining tickets will be made available without reservation starting fifteen minutes before the show begins.

ENZO GRAGNANIELLO IN CONCERT TOMORROW

The program continues on Friday, September 25th at 8:30 pm with Enzo Gragnaniello in "Veleno Mare e Ammore." The Neapolitan singer-songwriter will present a concert that blends singer-songwriter music, blues, and Mediterranean sounds, alternating pieces from his repertoire with references to Neapolitan musical tradition.

During the evenings, free childcare is available, run by the Winnie Land Play Center, from 7:00 PM until the end of the events. Settembre al Borgo is funded by the Campania Region through the Regional Agreement for Cohesion, promoted by the Municipality of Caserta and implemented by Fabbrica Audiovisiva Napoletana srl.
