Naples remembers Giancarlo Siani 41 years after his assassination. Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23, the city will pay tribute to the journalist from "Il Mattino," killed by the Camorra on September 23, 1985.

The ceremony will be held at 9:15 a.m. at Rampe Giancarlo Siani, in the Arenella neighborhood, where a wreath will be laid in memory of the Neapolitan journalist. The mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, will be present, along with civil and military authorities and representatives of local associations.

The Municipality thus renews its tribute to Siani, once again transforming the place named after him into a space of remembrance and reflection on the values ​​of legality and civic engagement.

Forty-one years have passed since that evening of September 23, 1985, when Siani was murdered at just 26 years old. His journalistic work and his commitment to exposing the dynamics of organized crime have continued to be a point of reference for Naples and for new generations.
