She killed her father in the RSACè accused of premeditated murder
Pavia di Udine – Marzia Fedele, 61, was arrested for killing her father Giuliano, 91, yesterday morning in the nursing home in Percoto, a hamlet of Pavia di Udine, and is charged with premeditated murder.
The 61-year-old is believed to have stabbed her father about ten times. However, an autopsy, expected to be conducted soon, will determine the precise number of stab wounds and provide further information on the dynamics of the attack and the cause of death.
Investigators also outlined a possible motive for the murder, based on the woman's statements, which described a personal and psychological situation that had become progressively unbearable.
The woman was caring for her two elderly parents, both residents of the same nursing home. This included a financial commitment, as she simultaneously paid for both of the facility's fees. This situation also included an incident that occurred the day before the murder. The father, suffering from dementia, allegedly subjected his daughter to severe verbal abuse.
This incident, according to the investigation, may have triggered the murderous rampage, triggering an untenable situation for the woman, who is now being held in Trieste prison, where she was taken following investigations conducted by Carabinieri officers from the Palmanova Company and coordinated by the Udine Prosecutor's Office.
