Naples, Sunday, September 27, 2026, the Cloister of Santa Maria La Nova hosts an evening dedicated to traditional Neapolitan melodies, performed by Pisapia & Gruppo Smeraldo. The show, titled "The Melodies of the Neapolitan Soul – Tales and Secrets of 800th- and 900th-Century Poets and Composers," features a completely new lineup.
It won't be a simple concert: it will be a narrative journey through immortal songs and stories that reveal curiosities and behind-the-scenes information about the poets and composers who electrified Neapolitan music around the world.
The artistic group is led by Gennaro Pisapia (vocals), supported by Michele Cordova (guitar), Alessandro Pignalosa (mandolin), Peppe Carannante (clarinet) and Francopaolo Perreca (soprano saxophone and percussion).
