A high-impact intervention entrusted to the Marano Carabinieri Company involved the municipalities of Marano and Villaricca.
During the operational exercise, 59 people were identified and 36 vehicles were checked. 14 traffic fines were issued, and one person was reported to the Prefecture for personal drug use. In total, three people were charged.
A 37-year-old man was charged with possession of an 18-centimeter-long knife; he was also reported for being banned from the area by the municipality of Villaricca.
A 36-year-old man was charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, having been found in possession of approximately 21 grams of hashish ready for sale. Another 44-year-old man was charged with driving a motorcycle without a license and had been a repeat offender for two years.
