Stabbings on the Cumana Highway in Pianura: Two minors injured, 17-year-old in danger of death

Naples – Another night of violence, another argument that escalated in moments and ended with the use of knives. In Naples, the alarm is rising again over youth-on-child attacks: two minors were stabbed on the evening of Monday, September 14, in the area of ​​Via Pablo Picasso, in Pianura, near the Cumana train station.

The most seriously injured is a 17-year-old boy, whose life-threatening injuries are at San Paolo Hospital. According to initial investigations, the young man will require surgery. A 16-year-old was also injured and taken to Cardarelli Hospital; his condition is not considered serious.

The fight on the train and the blows

The attack is said to have occurred around 20 pm. The two boys, both of Egyptian origin, were allegedly stabbed with a knife during an argument with other individuals, which broke out—according to initial reconstructions—over trivial matters.

The confrontation reportedly began aboard a Cumana train and quickly escalated. The exact circumstances of the incident, the number of attackers, and the motive that triggered the violent confrontation remain unclear.

Following the report, patrol officers from the Naples Police Headquarters' Office for General Prevention and Public Rescue responded. The police are gathering information to reconstruct what happened and identify the people involved.

Any footage from security cameras in the station area and along the railway line will be crucial, as will any testimonies from those who were on the train or near the Cumana station at the time of the attack.
