A 15-year-old boy dies in a collision between a scooter and a bus in Pontecagnano.

Pontecagnano – A tragic road accident shocked the community of Pontecagnano Faiano this morning. A 15-year-old boy lost his life following a violent collision between the scooter he was riding and a public bus.

The tragedy occurred along Corso Italia. For reasons still being investigated by investigators, the two vehicles collided, and the fifteen-year-old was thrown violently onto the asphalt.

The emergency response team was activated immediately: paramedics from 118, the fire department, and the Carabinieri quickly arrived at the crash site. Doctors made lengthy attempts to revive the boy on the spot, but unfortunately, all efforts were in vain; the injuries sustained in the crash proved too serious, and paramedics could only pronounce him dead.

The Carabinieri are currently working at the scene of the accident to conduct the necessary technical investigations to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident and establish any liability. The area has been secured to allow for the necessary investigations.
