Security raids in Vomero's nightlife district: 50 people identified and fines of €1.000.
A targeted operation to monitor the nightlife areas of Vomero was carried out yesterday evening. The initiative was organized by the Naples Police Headquarters and involved the participation of the Vomero, Arenella, and Secondigliano police stations, in collaboration with the Guardia di Finanza, the Local Police, and the ASL Napoli1 (Naples Health Authority).
The operation primarily focused on Piazza Vanvitelli, Piazza degli Artisti, Via Scarlatti, Via Merliani, Via Alvino, and Mascagna Park. During the operations, 50 people were identified, 23 vehicles were checked, and 64 traffic violations were reported.
Additionally, 23 commercial establishments were inspected: significant non-compliances emerged, along with irregularities related to the failure to periodically check the cash register and the lack of connection between the register and the POS, resulting in administrative fines totaling €1.000.
The intervention is part of the commitment to monitor nightlife areas to ensure safety and order during the evening hours.
