Marcianise – He was driving a Fiat 500 without ever having obtained a license and, during a check, allegedly presented the Carabinieri with a document that was found to be false. For this, a local young man, born in 2003, was reported at large by officers from the Marcianise Company's Mobile Radio Unit.
The check began this morning. Investigations conducted by the Carabinieri revealed that the driver had never held a driving license. He was also charged with a specific repeat offence within the past two years.
During the checks, the young man allegedly handed over to officers a driver's license that was found to be fake and lacking the required electronic chip. The document was seized and will be subjected to further investigation.
At the end of the operation, the 23-year-old was reported at large to the competent judicial authority on suspicion of possession of a false identification document and driving without a license.
The suspect's position remains under judicial review. In accordance with the principle of presumption of innocence, any liability will be determined by a final judgment.
