Jovanotti returns to music with a new version of "Le foglie di te," co-written with Samurai Jay and available from Friday, October 9th on radio and digital platforms. The song arrives just days after the premiere of "Lorenzo – L'incredibile avventura di Jovanotti" at the Rome Film Fest.
The song is featured on "Il corpo umano Vol. 1" and tells the story of love through images of nature, desire, and movement. In the new version, Samurai Jay's vocals and flow complement Jovanotti's writing, featuring a more upbeat and immediate arrangement. The production is by Dardust.
The music video, shot in New York, depicts the city through the eyes of the two artists. It's Samurai Jay's first visit: Lorenzo, who knows the city well, acts as his guide and even plays Cupid, aiming to find him a girlfriend. The video will be released on YouTube on October 16th.
The new single follows "Buon Vento," released with Alfa, and the Jova Summer Party, which concluded with two dates at Rome's Circo Massimo on September 12th and 13th. Jovanotti's musical journey will also continue on the big screen: the documentary "Lorenzo – L'incredibile avventura di Jovanotti," directed by Dario Zonta and Carlo Zoratti, is due in theaters on November 26th.
