Naples: Totò's "The Heir" sold out at the Piccolo in Fuorigrotta.

Less than six weeks before its debut, all 240 tickets available for the Naples show L'erede di Totò, the stand-up comedy show by Michele Ruggiero, aka Cosedimichele, have been sold out in advance. The show is scheduled for November 20, 2026, at the Teatro Il Piccolo in Fuorigrotta (Naples).

Show details and artist statements

Ruggiero, born in 1998, is known as a Neapolitan creator and has carved out a career in stand-up clubs in Naples and an active social media community. Five years into his career, his record-breaking pre-sales represents a significant milestone in his independent journey.

"I never expected a sold-out show so far in advance of the show's date. Knowing that 240 people have decided to trust this project without knowing it is the most beautiful demonstration that independent work pays off. I hope this is just the beginning, and that I can bring the show to other Italian cities. I'm very excited, and it's clear that there's a bit of anxiety, but at the same time I'm also very confident and proud of the show I'm going to perform. The title is just an affectionate and ironic provocation; I have nothing similar to Totò, and even the genre of comedy is completely different; I would never dare seriously compare myself to the giants of comedy." — Michele Ruggiero
