In the photo, a representative element of the story.
During a night patrol, the Caserta Company's Mobile Radio Unit arrested two men, aged 53 and 49, both from the Naples area, who were caught inside a construction site on Via De Martino while collecting construction materials.
The officers caught the two men forcing open the access gate and preparing to load pieces of material: zinc platforms, scaffolding frames, spacer bars, and other work tools. The stolen goods, valued at approximately €2.000, were recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
After the formal procedures were completed, the two were held in the Carabinieri's holding cells, available to the judicial authorities, pending their summary trial. This operation is part of the Carabinieri's daily surveillance activities, particularly at night and on construction sites at risk of theft.
