Benevento, the investigating judge releases Amin Hedhili after 48 hours.

Following the validation hearing, the investigating judge of the Benevento Court released Vincenzo Amin Hedhili, 27, originally from Montesarchio and resident in San Martino Valle Caudina. He is released from prison for this proceeding. He remains under house arrest for the other case, a measure already underway at the time of his new arrest.

The judge granted the requests of lawyers Vittorio Luigi Fucci and Giuseppe Vittorio Fucci. The prosecutor's office had requested detention.

The arrest in flagrante

Amin Hedhili was arrested the day before yesterday on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. He was already under house arrest.

The search, part of investigations by the Avellino and Naples police stations, was conducted at the home where he was serving his sentence. According to investigators, the home contained cocaine, hashish, cash, two precision scales with residues of the two substances, and cellophane bags.

The Avellino precedent

This isn't the first time Amin Hedhili's name has made the news. In December 2025, he was arrested red-handed after a personal and home search. According to the prosecution, 50 pre-packaged doses of cocaine, precision scales, sums believed to be significant, and a common firearm were found on him.

On May 23, 2026, the Court of Avellino, granting a request from lawyer Vittorio Luigi Fucci, released him from prison and placed him under house arrest in Pannarano. Following that decision, his new arrest concluded today with his release for the Benevento proceedings and the reinstatement of house arrest for the other.
