– They are asking for checks on the regularity of the signatures collected for the list of candidates for governor in Sicily. And for this reason three M5S deputies at the ARS Sergio Tancredi, Salvatore Siragusa and Angela Foti have signed a complaint presented today to the Sicilian Prosecutors.
Article 14 bis of law 29 of 1951 provides, say the signatories, that in order to present the president's list, the so-called list, signatures had to be collected "from at least 1.800 and no more than 3.600 voters". And therefore, in order to be presented, the list had to be accompanied by signatures. "We presented the complaint," says Tancredi, "to request the punctual verification of the signatures supporting the President's list." "The choice to present it in all the Public Prosecutor's Offices," he adds, "is due to the fact that the signatures of the list could be collected throughout the Region; in Palermo, the complaint has already been filed."
