Naples – He delivered a handwritten memorandum which indicates, in addition to the names and roles of the various members of the De Martino Xx and De Micco “Bodo” clans of Ponticelli, also the names of all those forced to pay extortion to the two Camorra gangs.
The repentant Giovanni Braccia did so during one of his first minutes of collaboration in November last year. He was the one who indicated the name of Fabio Riccardi called Fabiolino 'o cancro like the last regent of the De Micco. Riccardi was arrested last February after 4 months on the run in an apartment on Via Ungaretti in Ponticelli.
“Fabiolino 'o cancro decides who must suffer extortion”
The repentant Giovanni Braccia spoke about him: “Fabiolino “o' cancro” has always been a car thief and was financially well off. Later he was Gino “Bodo”'s driver and then he was the best man at the wedding of one of the De Micco brothers. In short, he enjoyed their trust. He began to support the clan when Ciro Natural he was shot and then arrested. Fabiolino is, then, the one who decides who should suffer the extortions and gives the orders in this sense".
And regarding the extortion system, Braccia writes in his memoir: “The extortion system of the Fiat district practiced by the De Martino Xx family, spread terror and corrupt people by threatening them to find compromises. I created this list at the time when we were me and Salvatore DeMartino.
While Francis Audino as the current Bodo deal with the upper side, that is Ponticelli-via Argine, Cercola-San Sebastiano. The list of the lower side, that is Fiat, Rione Incis, Porchiano, Via Botteghelle, still exists, it is always the same and today holds it…omissis… and they continue to pay three times a year: 500 euros at Easter, 500 euros in August and 500 euros at Christmas”.
The list of those extorted contains the omitted names of 41 entrepreneurs and traders forced to pay the extortion money to the De Martino Xx while another 10 are those who pay the De Micco “Bodo” family.

This article talks about a very serious situation regarding the Camorra in Ponticelli. It is worrying to know that there are so many entrepreneurs forced to pay the pizzo. We hope that the authorities will act soon to stop these illegal activities and protect the citizens.
