Napoli. Lunedì 13 maggio, alle 10, con This album is my love thought 2 , light music, this time Italian, once again breaks into the spaces of Federico II. In the magnificent setting of the Complesso dei Santi Marcellino e Festo, two well-known journalists and music critics – Michelangelo Iossa, university professor and author of monographs on the Beatles and Pino Daniele, and John Vignola, host on RadioRai and with prestigious and diversified experience in the recording industry – confront each other in a jam session of notes and images, words and passions, trying to answer a simple but not easy question: what are the ten masterpieces of the history of national light music? Which LPs certainly deserve to be saved from the oblivion of time and perhaps given as gifts, becoming, as the tune of Mal from fifty years ago (borrowed from the Bee Gees) went, «my thought of love»?
This record is my thought of love 2, a free-entry meeting until seats are filled, includes listening to songs and the screening of music videos. Ernesto Assante, a historic signature of La Repubblica and animator of Webnotte, will be present in the video.
As host, an unsuspected music enthusiast of our time: the Vice-Rector of the University of Naples Federico II Arturo De Vivo. The musical morning will open with greetings from Francesco de Cristofaro, professor of Comparative Literature and curator of the event.
