“Ghost” Holiday Home in Ascea, the Municipality: “Beware of the Serial Fraudster”
The notice from the Municipality: “Beware of Mr. AM, he is a serial scammer, yesterday he had placed an ad on Facebook proposing a house for rent in Ascea: we renew the invitation to always ask the Municipality for information in case of doubts”
Yet another scam was foiled last night in Ascea. The Municipality itself reported the incident on social media, raising the alarm in the community: “Beware of Mr. AM, he is a serial scammer, yesterday he had placed an ad on Facebook proposing a house for rent in Ascea: we renew our invitation to always ask the Municipality for information in case of doubts”.
“All authorized houses have a code and in addition, in the office we have the database of the owners of all the regularly authorized houses”, they continue from Palazzo di Città. The advice, therefore, is to verify the veracity of the advertisements, avoiding sending “suspicious” deposits, especially through Postepay top-ups.
