Vaccines: doses missing, Mostra and Capodichino hubs in Naples closed since Monday
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning in Naples the two largest vaccination centres of the ASL Napoli1 will be closed, the one in the hangar of Capodichino and that of the Mostra d'Oltremare, which will therefore open on Wednesday afternoon.
This was learned from the ASL Napoli 1, which has practically run out of available doses of Pfizer: tomorrow all the hubs will remain open thanks to a series of loans organized by the Crisis Unit to guarantee the opening of most of the hubs in the Region. Pfizer in Naples remained in the quantities of a few doses and for the recalls and therefore from Monday the Madre Museum, the Fagianeria di Capodimonte and the Maritime Station will work.
The next delivery is scheduled for Wednesday morning with 214.000 doses arriving, about 11.000 more than expected, as was the case last week, as part of the recovery plan for the 200.000 doses missing from Campania reported by governor Vincenzo De Luca. The ASL recalls that the national commissioner's target for Naples is 49.200 doses per day, but vaccines are needed to continue following that pace as the company has done in recent days.
At the moment there are still the Astrazenecas on which the ASL Napoli 1 continues with the cycle already scheduled until May 19 when the new delivery of that vaccine is expected. Yesterday 39.000 doses of Moderna arrived and then there are 20.000 doses of Johnson that are currently being used in penitentiaries and on the islands.
