The investigation that led to the issuing of 2019 precautionary measures against members of the Licciardi clan, part of the so-called Secondigliano Alliance, started with the murder of Domenico Gargiulo, which occurred in 8.
The measure, carried out by the Naples Flying Squad on the orders of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, photographs the activities of the criminal group from 2018 to 2021.
At the top of the organization, according to investigators, there would be Antonio Bruno, believed to be the instigator of theGargiulo murder and leading figure of the Rione Don Guanella group, an offshoot of the Licciardi clan.
Bruno, at liberty at the time of the investigation, moved between Secondigliano and the Phlegraean area, with decision-making tasks on criminal strategies, the management of the common fund and the maintenance of free and detained members.
The clan, as emerges from the 457 pages of the precautionary order signed by the investigating judge Linda Comella, strongly rooted in the territory, is divided into several articulations: Masseria Cardone, Rione Berlingieri, Vasto and precisely Don Guanella. Among those arrested also Renato Esposito, related to the Licciardi family, accused of having a management role in the Masseria Cardone.
The investigation involved a total of 31 suspects and shed light on various clan affairs: from the management of drug dealing areas - with a widespread organization ready to replace any arrested persons - to the market for stolen cars, resold or returned for payment (the so-called "return horse"), with figures between 500 and 3 thousand euros.
Unlike other Camorra organizations, the Licciardi clan maintained a more rigid and selective internal structure, with particular attention to the reliability of the subjects involved, according to a model closer to that of traditional mafias.

Criminal strategies? What do they lead to, what future? Prison, being behind bars for years. Police and Carabinieri looking for you, knocking on the intercom in the middle of the night, tec etc…
The article was interesting and sheds light on a very serious topic, but there is a lot of information that is difficult to follow. Some details seem not to be well explained and could use some more clarity.
