The dance, theatre and music festival kicks off Ancient Scenarios: twenty events including prose, dance and music, completely immersed in the archaeological sites and natural scenery of the Campi Flegrei.
The first 2 appointments Friday July 30 with the show 'Cocteau Line – Two-voice monologue', And Saturday August 1 with the dance show 'Spaccanapoli'.
The appointments will continue until Sunday September 18, with the concert of Lino CannavacciuoloGuests on the bill include Rosaria De Cicco, Vincenzo Borrino, the Scarlatti Junior Orchestra, and plenty of space for dance.
The Festival is organized by the Luna Nuova Cultural Association, with the patronage of the Municipality of Pozzuoli and the Archaeological Park of Campi Flegrei, with the recognition of the Mic.
A Festival with zero environmental impact, with shows that will be performed at dawn and dusk, depending on the artistic needs of the individual shows, without electricity and technology, relying completely on the eloquent force of the actors, the expressive power of the dancers, the unamplified sound of the music.
The sites that will host the individual events will be, together with the artists involved, the true protagonists of the event: Temple of Serapis, Terme di Baia, Archaeological excavations of Cuma, Temple of Neptune, Naturalistic Oasis of Montenuovo, Belvedere Buona Vista, Lake Averno.
A traveling festival that will host theater at the Naturalistic Oasis of Montenuovo, dance between the Temple of Serapis, the Urban Arena/Temple of Neptune and the Archaeological Excavations of Cuma, music between the Terme di Baia, Monte di Procida, the Urban Arena/Temple of Neptune and Lake Averno.
