Giugliano, forces his wife into prostitution and beats her with a crowbar and a knife: 41-year-old arrested
The Carabinieri of the Operations Section of the Giugliano Company have tracked down in San Marcellino a 41-year-old Albanian, with a criminal record, wanted because he was the recipient of a precautionary custody order in prison for the crimes of mistreatment, extortion and serious personal injury.
The man, following the evidence gathered during an investigative activity, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North and conducted by the military of the Giugliano in Campania Station, is considered seriously suspected of having carried out, over the last 10 years, repeated violent conduct, both verbal and physical, towards his cohabiting wife who he had forced into prostitution.
The woman was constantly threatened with death and had been, on several occasions, beaten with an iron bar - which had caused a fracture of a limb - and hit with a knife which had caused injuries to several parts of her body. The man, who had tried to evade capture, was located, following a close information-investigative activity, inside a betting shop in that city center.
He was locked up in Poggioreale prison awaiting trial.
