He was a man originally from the province of Naples, but long-time resident in Germany for professional reasons, the manager of a No Vax telegram channel through which he sent messages tinged with anti-Semitic ideologies, conspiracy theories against vaccines, and incitement to violence during public demonstrations.
The man was checked upon entering Italy at Naples Capodichino Airport, where he was in transit to participate in the anti-vax demonstration that was to take place in Rome on January 15, 2022, and was subjected to a personal search carried out, on behalf of the Public Prosecutor, by the Postal Police Department and the Naples Digos.
The operation was carried out by the Postal and Communications Police, on behalf of the Public Prosecutor, as part of the information monitoring of the Internet network connected to the current mobilization against the measures adopted by the Government to contain the Covid-19 pandemic,
The agents detected the publication of numerous hate messages, inspired by 'No Vax' conspiracy theories.

The police have identified in particular a Telegram channel, characterized by the presence of numerous messages featuring anti-Semitic ideologies, conspiracy theories against vaccines, incitement to violence during public demonstrations, as well as serious threats against various institutional officials, including Prime Minister Mario Draghi, US President Joe Biden and the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates.
