Liverpool Napoli Report Cards: Ostigard and Olivera Good
Meret: 6. A series of excellent saves in the first half and a miracle on Salah (offside). In the final he could have done better on Nunez's header, but the ball slips away from him and ends up in the net.
By Lorenzo: 6. Struggling at the start of the match, Jones escaped from him several times, putting Meret in difficulty. In the second half he took his measure.
Ostigard: 7. Ahead of a lot of balls, both headers and slides. Shame about the disallowed goal: very unlucky, a matter of millimetres.
Kim: 6,5. He keeps a good watch on Firmino and on certain occasions also on Salah at speed, putting his physique into it.
Olivera: 7. Excellent performance in coverage on Salah, who blocks in various circumstances, both on high balls and on the ground.
Liverpool Napoli Report Cards: Lobotka leads the midfield
Anguissa: 6,5. He improved his condition in the second half of the match and played the full 90 minutes for the first time since his injury. Good signs.
Lobotka: 7. He is the usual metronome of the midfield: Liverpool knows it and understands that the only way to stop him is with force. And he suffers many fouls (from the 82nd Zielinski: yes).
Ndombele: 6,5. Good containment game in midfield, he also shows himself up front warming up Alisson's gloves at the start (from 87' Raspadori: sv).
Liverpool Napoli Report Cards: Kvara Enchants, But It's Not Enough
Politano: 6. He tries to participate in the maneuver by continuously dropping to launch Osimhen. Not very incisive up front (from 70′ Lozano: 6).
Osimhen: 6. He engages in a great duel with van Dijk, but fails to find the winning touch in front of goal (from 87' Simeon: sv).
Kvaratskhelia: 7. Constant danger on the wing, where he runs away on several occasions, arriving at the bottom and putting poisonous crosses in the middle. He also comes close to scoring in the second half (from 83' Elmas: sv).
