La7 suspends Non è l'arena, Giletti remains available 

La7 has decided to suspend production of the program “It is not the Arena” which will not be on air from next Sunday.

“DIA searches in my house? It's fake news”. Massimo Giletti told the press agency in relation to the rumours spread by some media about searches in his home.

In recent weeks, rumors have been spreading about Massimo Giletti's possible move to Rai, to host a program starting next season. According to rumors circulating in La7, it was the contacts with public television that determined the break with Urbano Cairo's broadcaster.

Faced with the prospect of a relationship destined to end, in recent days the company has apparently decided to speed things up, arriving at the decision to suspend the program. It also seems – we learn further – that problems have arisen in relation to the costs and advertising revenue of the program.

Giletti's move to public television would be in line with the renewal of the schedules that the center-right would like to implement starting next season. Rai's autumn programming will be presented in June and decisions are being made in these weeks. Giletti's move to Rai1 had recently been hypothesized, but according to other rumors the host could land on the second network possibly on Thursday evenings, historically occupied by information talk shows.
