Surrounded, punched in the face and robbed. It is the attack suffered the other night at Bologna by two girls in their early twenties, one of whom ended up in the emergency room with a broken nose. For the episode, the police have placed under arrest a suspect two foreigners, tracked down the following day and found in possession of part of the loot (iPhone headphones, foreign currency, credit cards) and the knife they had used to cut the shoulder strap of one of the victims' bag.
It is two North Africans irregular and whose identity is still uncertain: one said he was Moroccan and the other Algerian, both in their 30s and with criminal records. Together, around XNUMX:XNUMX on Monday, they targeted the two friends who were walking along Via Mascarella to return home.
After theaggression, it was another girl who was in the area who helped the victims and called 113. The two robbers were also identified thanks to the examination of some video surveillance footage: in one they were immortalized while, still in the center area, they were trying to use the credit card of one of the victims to buy cigarettes at a self-service.

The investigators of the Mobile Squad, who conducted the investigations, tracked them down in the afternoon in via Corticella. The Bologna police commissioner Isabella Fusiello described them as “two violent and dangerous individuals, already responsible for similar episodes in Milan and Naples”. For this reason Fusiello hopes that, with the collaboration of the consular authorities, we will arrive as soon as possible “to a certain identification so that they can be permanently removed from the territory of the State”.
