By mouth of Uli hoeness, for the first time the Bayern Munich has publicly admitted his intention to sign the English centre-forward Harry Kane from Tottenham, with the belief that he had a good chance of achieving the goal. The national team striker “He has made it clear in all conversations that he has decided to 'join the German champions this summer' and if he remains convinced of this we will have him and Tottenham will give in”, the honorary president of the Bavarians told reporters at the club's training camp.
Kane, who turns 30 at the end of the month and whose contract expires in 2024, “he wants to play an international competition and Tottenham are not qualified next season” for one of the European competitions, “unlike our club”, added Hoeness, stressing that “now he has the opportunity to come to one of the best clubs in Europe.”
According to German media, the Bayern Munich would have already found the agreement with Harry Kane, but will have to shell out at least 100 million euro in the hope of convincing the Tottenham, who so far does not seem willing to let go of his best player, captain and driving force of recent years.
