The agents of the Environmental Protection department of the local police of Napoli, during a control activity in the eastern area of the city, more precisely at the height of the underpass of via Pacioli (San Giovanni district), an area strongly affected by the uncontrolled abandonment of waste, they found the presence of a large quantity of car body waste.
They then noticed that the imprint of a license plate had remained impressed on a bumper and, thanks to this detail, they were able to trace first the owner of the car and then the owner of the body shop that had been entrusted with the work.
The agents, together with the personnel of the Local Police of Cercola, the area where the body shop is located, verified that the owner, a 67-year-old resident of Cercola, was completely without any authorization, both administrative and for waste management and, for this reason, the business was seized and the owner reported for the crime of uncontrolled storage and abandonment of waste.
