This morning, the police forces of the Scampia Police Station, as part of the planned operations, carried out a check on a car in Via Vittorio Veneto. During the inspection of the vehicle, occupied by two individuals, it emerged that the passenger was in possession of a package containing approximately 25 grams of heroin.
Following this discovery, the suspect, a 44-year-old man originally from Napoli, already known to the authorities with specific precedents, was immediately arrested for the crime of illegal possession of narcotics. The prompt action of the police contributed to combating illegal drug trafficking in the area.
