Two pubs in the Naples area were robbed within minutes of each other on the night between Saturday and Sunday.
The first raid took place in casalnuovo in Naples, in via dei Platani, around 1.15:XNUMX. Two people with their faces covered and armed with a gun burst into a pub and forced the owner to hand over the money in the cash register. Before fleeing, they fired a shot in the air.
The second robbery took place in Pomigliano d'Arco, in via Carlo Poerio, about a quarter of an hour later. The dynamics were similar: two criminals threatened the owner of a pub with a gun and made him hand over the daily takings, the amount of which is still to be quantified. In this case too, the robbers fired two gunshots in the air before disappearing.
The Carabinieri of the Castello di Cisterna radiomobile section intervened for the Casalnuovo robbery and those of the San Vitaliano station for the Pomigliano case. Investigations are underway to reconstruct the two events and identify those responsible.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The two robberies, which took place at close range and in similar ways, suggest that the two episodes may have been carried out by the same commando.
The carabinieri investigations are now focusing on the video surveillance images of the two premises and on the testimonies of those present. The aim is to trace those responsible and bring them to justice.
