Cerreto Sannita Nursing Home Abuse: Notice of Conclusion of Investigations

Notice of conclusion of investigations for the four social health workers of the nursing home for the elderly and community care for the non self-sufficient located in Cerreto Sannita.

The four had been the recipients of the precautionary measure of the prohibition of approaching the structure, adopted by the GIP Vinetti at the request of the PM Stefania Bianco, of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza of Solopaca and Cerreto, of the Carabinieri NAS Command of Salerno, following the alleged mistreatment of the elderly, aggravated by their being disabled.

GP, a 51-year-old from Cerreto Sannita , LAM, a 56-year-old from Guardia Sanframondi, AM, 48, from Sant'Agata dei Goti, and GS, a 30-year-old from Valle di Maddaloni, appeared before the investigating judge Pietro Vinetti on September 2nd. They were defended by the lawyer Massimo Viscusi, Lawyer Emiliano Vaccarella, Lawyer Antonio Barbieri and Lawyer Cosimo Ciotta.

The review had replaced the precautionary measure with a one-year ban from practicing law for three of the defendants. Only MA, from Sant'Agata de' Goti, defended by the lawyer Massimo Viscusi, had not filed an appeal.
