“Affabulazione” Project: A Celebration of Neapolitan Culture
The event is part of the project “Affabulazione” of the Municipality of Naples, in collaboration with the Maria Malibran association. This project aims to highlight the “polycentric Naples”, making its cultural traditions known through a series of artistic performances. From the soprano Raffaella Ambrosino to operas such as “Napoli Milionaria” by Nino Rota, the focus is on Neapolitan culture in all its forms, from music to dance, to theater.
A Calendar Full of Events and Meetings
The first edition of the “Fenice Festival” includes a rich program with five evening events, including shows and concerts, plus three artistic workshops that will take place in the IV Municipality of Naples, in the areas of Poggioreale and the industrial zone. These places become the ideal stage for an initiative with a powerful social and cultural impact, with the aim of regenerating the urban and social fabric through art and culture. Among the guests of the show dedicated to Troisi, there will be long-time friends of the Neapolitan comedian, such as Costantino Punzo, Beppe Borrelli and Alfredo Cozzolino. The deputy mayor and Councilor for Culture Pietro De Martino, responsible for the Massimo Troisi Award, will also be present. The actor Stefano Sannino and the choreography of Irma Cardano will complete the evening, offering the public a one-of-a-kind experience.
