Naples Rome, ticket sales prohibited to residents of Lazio

Attention is growing over the Serie A match between Napoli and Roma, scheduled for Sunday, November 24, at 6:00 PM at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium . For reasons of public order, the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari , has ordered a ban on ticket sales to residents of the Lazio region.

The measure, as stated in an official note from the Prefecture of Naples , was adopted on the advice of the Naples Police Headquarters and following the assessments of the Analysis Committee for the Safety of Sports Events (CASMS) , which on 12 November last highlighted a high risk of serious disturbances to public order and safety.

This decision follows a consolidated practice in matches considered at risk, especially those involving historically rival fan bases, as in the case of Napoli and Roma. The ban aims to prevent episodes of violence and ensure a more peaceful atmosphere during the sporting event.
