Castellammare, checks in the red zone: 2 people removed

The Carabinieri are intensifying checks in the red zones in the province of Naples, identified by the Prefect with a focus yesterday evening in particular on Castellammare di Stabia.

Two people were removed for disturbing the peace, while a larger operation involved the search of 123 vehicles and the identification of 231 people.

Arrests and complaints

During the checks, an arrest was made regarding a prison order for aggravated theft. Three additional people were reported: a 34-year-old man for evading house arrest, a 33-year-old for resisting a public official and a 45-year-old man for failure to comply with the orders of the authority.

Impact on business activities

The Carabinieri 's inspections also affected the commercial sector, with fines issued to four clothing stores for occupying public land with unauthorized outdoor seating.

Traffic and drug violations

Ten violations of the Highway Code were found, including driving without a license, expired license, driving without the necessary documents and failure to undergo a roadworthiness test. In addition, four young people were fined for possession and use of narcotics.
