A joint operation between the State Police, the Guardia di Finanza, the Local Police, and the Local Health Authority (ASL) led to tight checks in the heart of Naples' historic center, resulting in administrative fines and the seizure of damaged food.

Checks in Naples' historic center: 40 people identified and 70 kg of food seized.
Yesterday evening, law enforcement and healthcare personnel conducted targeted checks in the historic center of Naples, as part of a plan developed by the Police Headquarters to ensure safety and compliance with regulations in nightlife areas. During the operation, 40 people were identified and five businesses were inspected.
The inspections revealed several irregularities, including the failure to service the cash register, the lack of a connection between the POS and the cash register, the failure to renew permits for the occupation of public land, and poor sanitation. Administrative fines totaling €2.524 were imposed for these violations.
Additionally, 70 kilograms of food were seized that had been stored improperly or lacked the required labeling to protect public health. The joint action by the police and the local health authority demonstrates the authorities' commitment to maintaining order and safety in the city's public gathering areas.
