The Friends of Gennaro Association is demanding clarity regarding the alleged abuse of an autistic child in Naples.

The "Gli Amici di Gennaro" Association, which works to protect children and young people with autism spectrum disorders, has expressed concern regarding a report of mistreatment that occurred last spring against an autistic child at a school in Naples.

The association's president, lawyer Vincenzo Taralbo, emphasized the importance of ensuring every child has a safe, respectful, and inclusive educational environment, with particular attention to the specific needs of autistic students.

The association also expressed its full confidence in the work of the judiciary and the competent authorities, calling for a prompt and impartial investigation that will protect the minor and all those involved. The incident has highlighted the need to strengthen protection measures for students with disabilities in Campania's schools.
