Thuram's goal to make it 2-2
Yesterday's match was one of those games that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth; Allegri's Napoli collapsed at the Meazza against a magnificent Inter.
The match started at a very high pace from both sides, although the first opportunity for goal was set up by Lautaro Martínez for Diouf, who fired a rebound shot from the edge of the area: Meret stretched out and parried it out for a corner.
The Neapolitans' response came immediately, creating a double opportunity:
First, Anguissa, from close range, was saved by Josep Martínez with his foot; Politano responded to the rebound, but the Inter goalkeeper again managed to save.
The first half was characterised by chances that neither team converted, also because the real match really began in the second half with Napoli taking the lead with goals from Matteo Politano in the 50th minute and Højlund in the 53rd minute, freezing the home team.
The Neapolitans' joy, however, was short-lived, as Lautaro Martínez, as always, scored the 1-2 goal, giving the black and blue fans hope.
After conceding a goal, Napoli seemed unable to react.
And it was here that Inter took advantage of this situation with Marcus Thuram, who scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute.
Napoli tried to react with the move created by Lorenzo Lucca, who placed a low ball into the six-yard box, a ball that, however, failed to give the Neapolitans the joy of an advantage due to an error by André-Frank Anguissa.
the match was almost over, but in the 90th minute Lautaro Martínez scored a sensational goal that definitively closed the match.
Napoli returns home with zero points, but above all with the regret of having had the ball fall to Anguissa's foot that would have completely changed the match.
