A police check in Frattamaggiore led to the arrest of a 53-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, for possession of narcotics.
The officers from the local police station, engaged in a territorial control operation, noticed a scooter with an individual on board moving suspiciously along Via Sacco e Vanzetti.
Stopped and searched, the man was found in possession of 15 packages of hashish, four of marijuana, and seven of cocaine. He was subsequently arrested by the responding police, who are continuing their investigation to clarify further details on the case.
