Arienzo: Rooftop Rescue: Carabinieri Stop Man in Crisis
In the town center of Arienzo, a 45-year-old man was saved thanks to the timely intervention of the Carabinieri following a report to the Emergency Number 112. The man, under the influence of alcohol, was threatening to commit an extreme act by jumping from the roof of a building.
The officers from the Operations and Mobile Unit of the Maddaloni Company and the San Felice a Cancello Station, who arrived on the scene, handled the situation with caution and professionalism, maintaining contact with the man and successfully dissuading him from committing suicide. After reaching him and securing him, 118 paramedics administered first aid, without requiring hospitalization.
The man was handed over to his partner, who was present at the home, for safe return. The intervention, reported to the Judicial Authorities, prevented serious consequences and underscores the importance of collaboration between citizens and law enforcement in managing delicate emergencies.
