Pino Daniele, Napule è Millenaria (official soundtrack) available digitally from today

Today, Friday, March 7, “NAPULE È MILLENARIA”, an unreleased version of the famous song by Pino Daniele, is available digitally. This track has been designated as the official anthem for the celebrations of the 2500th anniversary of the founding of Naples.

A Sound Homage to Naples

The new version of “Napule è” is an innovative sound manifesto that intertwines tradition and modernity. It integrates sounds of the sea and classical instruments such as mandolins, reworked with elements of electronic music, with the unmistakable voice of Pino Daniele and his guitar. This arrangement aims to reflect the history and cultural heritage of the Campania city. Distributed by Sony Music Entertainment Italy, the soundtrack was produced by Alessandro Daniele and Fabrizio Bianco, with mixing and mastering by Pino Pischetola Pinaxa. The electronic processing was handled by Diego Capocitti, while Fabrizio Bianco contributed with mandolins, mandola and synthesizer.

“70/10 Anniversary” Project

The initiative is part of the “70/10 Anniversary” celebrations, which commemorate the 10th anniversary of Pino Daniele’s death and the 70th anniversary of his birth. In addition to the soundtrack, the program also includes the new exhibition “PINO DANIELE. SPIRITUAL” which will be held from March 20 to July 6 at the Palazzo Reale in Naples. The exhibition “Pino Daniele. Spiritual” is promoted by the Pino Daniele Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Palazzo Reale, the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples. It was produced by COR Creare Organizzare Realizzare, supported by media partner Rai, and enjoys the collaboration of Rai Teche, Archivio Luce and Fondazione Campania dei Festival. The curatorship is entrusted to Alessandro Daniele and Alessandro Nicosia.
