Marcianise – A crucial meeting regarding the future of the Jabil plant in Marcianise, specializing in the production of electronic boards for telecommunications, was held at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MIMIT) .
On the table, the industrial plan presented by TME, aimed at guaranteeing production continuity and protecting employment levels in an area with a high level of difficulty.
TME's project foresees a significant involvement of Invitalia, which will acquire a 45% share, demonstrating the public commitment to supporting the initiative.
Jabil, for its part, is committed to providing financial and technological support for the next three years, as well as favorable terms in relations with suppliers and customers. The plan also includes early retirement incentives for a portion of employees.
Minister Urso underlined the importance of public intervention to safeguard production and jobs: “We have done everything possible to protect the continuity of production at the Marcianise plant, in this particularly difficult area.
In the context of this dispute, which began more than a year and a half ago, we have evaluated every hypothesis on the field and guaranteed public support for possible sustainable industrial initiatives, also through the important and significant presence of Invitalia as a further guarantee for the workers of the plant".
TME's industrial plan aims to relaunch the Marcianise plant, exploiting the development potential of the telecommunications sector. Invitalia's participation represents a strong signal of public support, with the aim of ensuring the sustainability of the project and safeguarding employment levels.
