Castellammare – An appeal for unity and collaboration for the good of the city comes from ten parliamentarians of the Democratic Party, who in a joint note express full support for the political commitment of Sandro Ruotolo and the municipal administration led by mayor Luigi Vicinanza.
«We wholeheartedly support the valuable work that Sandro Ruotolo is carrying out in Castellammare – we read in the note – a commitment that goes beyond simple denunciation and translates into concrete actions to affirm legality and transparency in public life».
According to the signatories, the municipal administration has taken a clear path in the fight against organised crime, a path to be supported with determination and courage: «We are certain that together with Ruotolo, the administration will continue to fight the mafia and build a better future for the city».
The document also relaunches the Democratic Party's vision for the future of Castellammare: fair, inclusive and sustainable development, based on social protection and equal opportunities, in line with the priorities of the government coalition.
The members of parliament Antonio Misiani, Toni Ricciardi, Susanna Camusso, Marco Sarracino, Piero De Luca, Arturo Scotto, Dario Franceschini, Roberto Speranza, Stefano Graziano and Valeria Valente have signed the appeal.
