Naples – Blitz by the Guardia di Finanza and the Local Police against illegal commercial activity in the heart of Naples.
In via Toledo, a favorite destination for tourists, the police seized over 1.000 counterfeit items, mainly Napoli Football Club shirts and gadgets, reporting four Italian citizens for counterfeiting and receiving stolen goods.
The operation, conducted by the Rapid Response Group of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza and by Local Police officers, is part of the checks ordered by Prefect Michele di Biase, as decided within the Committee for Public Order and Safety.
During the operation, which also extended to Piazza Carità, approximately 8.000 fake items were confiscated, including smartphone covers, bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, glasses, lighters, earphones, umbrellas, toys and miniatures.
Three illegal vendors were reported administratively, while fines totaling approximately 15.000 euros were imposed for selling without a license on public land and lack of administrative authorizations.
The operation confirms the authorities' commitment to fighting counterfeiting and illegal activities, to protect the local economy and consumers.
