Naples – In less than 24 hours, the Carabinieri of the Naples Investigative Unit have carried out a new coup against organized crime: Giuseppe Perrella, believed to be close to the Camorra clan “De Micco-De Martino”, has been arrested and has been a fugitive since November 2024.

The man, the recipient of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, is accused of kidnapping aggravated by mafia methods.
The crime dates back to August 27, 2024 and would have matured in the context of the feud between the “De Luca-Bossa” clans – linked to the Secondigliano Alliance – and the rivals of the “De Micco-De Martino” group, historically allied with the Mazzarella clan.
According to the reconstruction by the investigators, Perrella would have acted together with Romualdo Amitrano, Alessio La Volla and Fabio Riccardi. The latter have already been arrested, the last of whom, Riccardi, last February 20.
The investigations, conducted with traditional and technical methods, led to the location of the fugitive in an apartment in Ponticelli, where he had found refuge thanks to the logistical support of a couple. They too now risk legal trouble for aiding and abetting.
As a fugitive he had published a photo of himself in a well-known nightclub in Rome
It is, as anticipated by the journalist Luciana Esposito, a relative of a former prominent figure of the D'Amico, now affiliated again with the De Micco, in the San Rocco district, increasingly a stronghold of the clan. And among other things, during his time on the run, Perrella challenged the State, publishing on social media photos that portrayed him in a well-known nightclub in Rome.
