Naples – “A great experience for Napoli, which enters an international circuit, also thanks to the assignment of the 2027 America's Cup. It was a celebration of the people, of the community, which strengthened relationships between people".
With these words, Prefect Michele di Bari commented today in a press conference on the celebrations for Napoli's fourth Scudetto, which lasted all night between May 23 and 24.
99,9% Party Success: Safety and Functional Big Screens
The prefect praised the organization of the event, defining the safety device put in place as “perfect”:
52 giant screens distributed throughout the city, which avoided excessive gatherings in a single location;
Collaboration between law enforcement, the Municipality and the Campania Region (“I thank the mayor, the Local Police and President De Luca”);
Minimal incidents (“A few robberies and reckless gestures, but they are part of the ordinary life of a metropolis”).
Monday the official parade: two open buses on the seafront
Di Bari then announced the details of the official celebration, scheduled for Monday 26 May at 15pm: the team will parade on two open-top buses along Lungomare Caracciolo, among rows of people.

“Everything worked 99,9%,” concluded the prefect. “The idea of the giant screens was a winning one, and Naples confirms itself as a city capable of managing large events efficiently.” A success that anticipates the global spotlight on the 2027 America's Cup.
