Naples, – After winning the fourth Scudetto, Naples is preparing to celebrate Napoli’s triumph with a big parade scheduled for Monday 26 May on the Caracciolo seafront.

The city council has approved a €500 plan that includes large screens, security devices and a complex traffic organisation.
Today at the Prefecture, in the presence of the prefect Michele Di Bari, an organizational meeting was held with the mayor and the heads of the police force in which all the details were outlined.
The parade route
The team will parade on two open buses along the Caracciolo seafront, in the stretch between via Sannazzaro and piazza Vittoria (about 2,5 km). The area will be delimited by anti-overturning barriers and guarded by the police, with controlled access.
Big screens and security
To allow everyone to follow the event, 4 large screens will be set up in:
Largo Sermoneta
Piazza Sannazzaro
Piazza San Pasquale
Via Partenope (former University)
Checks at the entrances, assistance to the public and a health station are planned.
Prohibitions and special measures
Beverages: the sale and consumption of bottles, cans and rigid containers is prohibited (only light plastic or paper cups).
Fireworks: Absolutely prohibited on sale and use.
Road closures and traffic changes
Sunday May 25th
From 00:00: no parking with forced removal on Viale Anton Dohrn (except vehicles for installations).
From 06:00: closure to traffic of via Caracciolo (section viale Dohrn – piazza Vittoria) in the direction of piazza Vittoria.
Suspension of the cycle path from Piazza della Repubblica to Piazza Vittoria.
Monday May 26
From 06:00: Galleria Laziale closes.
From 09:00: no traffic allowed in:
Via Posillipo (from Piazza San Luigi to Largo Sermoneta)

Schools of all levels in Municipality 1 will remain closed on Monday to ensure safety.
